I'm still going to post information in this blog, but not as much as in AmishGramish.tv, because that's a higher priority because I can make moneys off it and I spent actual dollars on it...
Anyways, AmishGramish.tv is just a website about the crazy things my friends and I do and the AMVs that I make.
I hope that anyone who reads this blog would go and visit my other site!

Yeah... I won't be on much...
If anyone reads any of these blog posts, I won't be on very much for a while...
Why, you ask?
Well, I got a job at the Best Buy in Fargo as a cashier, so if you see an amish looking guy, just make sure to ask them if they are Amish Gramish.
I also have Assassin's Creed on the PS3 (WOOT!!!!) now, and I'm going to be playing a lot more games than I usually do, because Haze is coming out soon and I need to beat a lot of other games I already have and/or will get.
Well, blog to you later!
P.S.
I am active on www.gametrailers.com now, so if anyone joins, make sure to say that AmishGramish sent you! That's where I'm on a lot of the time...

AMV is now on MetaCafe!
They Might Be Final, Here Comes The Fantasy! - Amazing videos are here
MetaCafe and Veoh have a lot better resolution than YouTube, which is why I am partly annoyed by YouTube.
Well, my video has an average of about 2.8 on these sites, and I didn't think it would be that highly rated... Well, when I fine tune it,it apparently will get an even higher score!?!?!?!?
But that'll be within the next year or two.
And the best thing about MetaCafe is if any video that the poster made gets over 20,000 views, the people who made the videos get PAID!!!!
A lot of money has already been shelled out, and there's a lot more where that came from!

How game developers and musicians can get more $$$$$$$$
One very simple way for video game developers and musicians and their respective companies can get a lot of money is if you take a game like, let's say LittleBigPlanet, and you let people upload their own levels to let other people download them.
But what they could do with these games is sell people songs (that may or may not be played only on that game, i.e. also put on the console for unlimited playback) and let them use these songs during the levels. One element that would probably make this a little popular or more popular is if the gamers were allowed to use certain songs at certain points, or even certain portions of songs at certain points in the game.
Something like this can be done for a lot of different games.
This would be replacing the soundtrack, if it even had any.
It costed about $250K to have a full song in a game back in 2005, which is why most games either feature songs that are re-made by another company or the songs are cut in half, but if the songs weren't put in the game, and were made available for download, game developers might be able to let us have full songs (at our dime) without being charged the full 250K. In order to do so, they would probably make a deal with the music companies that would probably have a minimum price paid to the music companies and would have a set amount of royalties per song sold.
The world of downloadable video game console content is going to go through a lot of changes in the next 10-20 years until it finds a stable point, kind of like what just happened with the internet. I.e., it doesn't have many new things that pop up every year.
Well, I think the price of games will drop to $50 by the end of 2008, and the microtransactions will make up more and more of the amount spent on games. I also think the price of microtransactions will drop, i.e. SingStar, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Dance Dance Revolution, and all other song games that will (probably) have songs for download will see the prices drop to about $1 to $1.50 each. They currently cost a little more than $2 on Guitar Hero 2 for the Xbox 360.
And for those who say that portable consoles (the PSP and DS) will rule the industry by 2010, just shut your faces up!
The home consoles will always be in control, because most people who play games on home consoles don't buy handhelds (and that won't change much, either). And also, the game software for home consoles will always be larger than portables. The games/360 ratio is over 5 per 360 right now, and neither the PSP or DS has more than 4 games per console. (The PSP and DS were released before the 360 came out).

Something crazy
I am just amazed that the video I posted has over 4,000 views and I have two subscribers!?!?!?!?
I don't even know why anyone would subscribe when I only have one (true) video.
Well, I just have to say thanks to everyone who has watched my video and who will watch my video and who has and will subscribe to me on YouTube!

Two to three weeks...
I haven't worked on my AMV for the past two days, and I won't be able to work on it much tomorrow, if I even get to work on it.
I won't be able to work on it this weekend, unless if I move the (very) large computer to another house.
So, I might have a couple days to work on it this weeks (three to four hours each day) and I might get more days of work on it next week, so it will probably be a couple weeks until I have completed it.

AMV Partly Done
My AMV is partly done!!!
I have 1 minute 4 seconds of my AMV completed so far, and there's only 3 minutes left!!!
I have spent about 3 1/2 hours working on it, and it looks like it will be about 12-15 hours of work left!!!
Good times, or not...
(the 3 1/2 hours doesn't include the 8 hours spent finding programs to convert and edit the files)

Working on NEW VIDEO!!!!
I am working on a new video now!!!
I spent about eight hours working on ripping DVDs onto my computer and converting them to a file that my trial version of Sony Vegas (I'm too poor for $90...) can use.
I finally found one, but each episode takes up almost 6 GB of space.
Well, I have about 30 seconds of the 4 minute AMV done, and I will (hopefully) get it done this weekend!

OVER 1,000 VIEWS OF THEY MIGHT BE FINAL, HERE COMES THE FANTASY!!!
The video I put up on YouTube, called They Might Be Final, Here Comes The Fantasy!, has over 1,000 views now!!!
That means over 3,000 minutes, over 50 hours, and over 180,000 seconds that people viewed it!
That's a lot more than the five hours I spent making it!!!!

I met Al Franken
I braved the storm yesterday to go to Dilworth with Im (foreign exchange student) to go see the future (Democratic) Senator from Minnesota and movie star/former talk show host/former SNL comedian.
I talked with him about the war in Iraq and about the future of the U.S.
And he met Im and talked with him about Indonesia.
I hope school is canceled tomorrow, because that would make this weekend even better!
I mean, first being in the flOw for the PS3 credits, and then meeting Al Franken, and then having over 600 views, 1 comment, a 5 star rating, and 1 favorite on my music video of Final Fantasy XIII to the tune of Ana Ng by They Might Be Giants:

I am in the credits for flOw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in the credits for the game flOw for the PlayStation 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!
flOw is a truly amazing game, and all those crappy industry reviews of flOw, which gave flOw 7.5/10 average, but the user reviews give flOw an average of 9.8/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
flOw is a must have for the PlayStation 3, and the response in the past two days of it's release is astounding.
It went from being a game that almost no one knew about, to the most popular PS3 game in just TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, how did I get in the credits?
I was just a regular poster on thatgamecompany's website.
Anyways, I give flOw a big, 10/10!!!!!!!!!
